Not a typical WSQ floral arrangement class

Looking for a SkillsFuture floral arrangement class in Singapore? This one is SkillsFuture-eligible and fully hands-on with real flowers — but it teaches you to turn floristry into a sellable product, not just an arrangement.

From Trend to Shelf is a SkillsFuture floral arrangement course that goes beyond technique. It's a WSQ course that uses floristry as the hands-on learning medium to teach you how to think like a professional product developer.

Over 16 hours across three days, you'll move through the full product development process, from reading market trends and identifying your target audience, to costing, branding, and launching a product range. You'll work with fresh and preserved flowers throughout, applying what you learn to real floral products in real time.

You'll leave with a WSQ Statement of Attainment, four beautiful floral arrangements you made yourself, and a practical framework you can apply to any product. Lunch is provided on Days 1 and 2.

4 floral arrangements. Yours to take home.

As part of the practical exercises, you'll create and bring home a floral capsule collection of four products, each one a real-world application of the product development principles covered in the course.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a WSQ floral arrangement course?
Not exactly, and that's intentional. Most WSQ floral arrangement courses focus purely on floristry technique. This course uses floristry as the hands-on medium to teach professional product development skills. You'll still create four floral arrangements to take home, but you'll also leave with a WSQ qualification and a framework for developing any product commercially. Think of it as a WSQ floristry course with a lot more depth.
Is this a SkillsFuture floral arrangement course, class, or flower arrangement workshop?
It's a SkillsFuture-eligible WSQ course that incorporates hands-on flower arrangement. If you've been searching for a SkillsFuture floral arrangement class or course, this is the closest thing currently available: the floristry is real and practical, but the qualification you earn is in product development, which makes it more versatile and career-relevant.
How is this different from other WSQ floristry courses in Singapore?
Most WSQ floristry courses and floral arrangement courses in Singapore teach you how to create arrangements. This course teaches you how to develop, cost, brand, and launch a floral product range. You learn through doing, creating four real floral products across the three days, but the skills you take away go well beyond arrangement technique. If you want to turn floristry into a business or a career, this course gives you the commercial foundation that most WSQ floral courses don't cover.
Is this course eligible for SkillsFuture funding and subsidies?
Yes. This course is eligible for SkillsFuture funding, including subsidies of up to 70%, and usage of SkillsFuture Credits, for learners who meet the eligibility requirements. Subsidies apply to eligible learners aged 21 and above. If you've been looking for a SkillsFuture floral arrangement course, WSQ floristry course, or flower arrangement workshop in Singapore that is subsidy-eligible. This qualifies.
Can I use SkillsFuture Mid-Career Transition credits for this course?
No. The Mid-Career Transition credits cannot be used for this course. To find out the breakdown of your SkillsFuture Credits, refer to our step-by-step guide on checking your SkillsFuture Credit balance.
What are the entry requirements?
A minimum of 3 GCE O-Level passes including English, or WPL Level 5. Computer literacy is also required. The written assessment will be conducted in English. If you're unsure whether you meet the requirements, WhatsApp us and we'll help you check.
Do I need prior experience in floristry or product development?
Prior experience is encouraged but not required. This course is suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners looking to formalise their approach. Participants should come with a positive learning attitude and a willingness to engage in discussions, practical exercises, and feedback throughout the course.
How do I submit a SkillsFuture Credit claim?
We have a full step-by-step guide on our website. Visit our SkillsFuture claim submission guide for instructions, or WhatsApp us if you need help.
