During this 16 hours course, you will pick up all the essential skills and knowledge you need to bring your floral journey to the next level, whether you are a beginner who’s just starting out, or an experienced floral artist looking to further your business and craftsmanship.

In addition to lots of practical hands-on practice, our experienced instructors will also share practical tips on starting a sustainable floral business that we have picked up during our decade in the floral industry.

This course is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in floristry, whether you are a beginner considering a career in the floral industry with established players, starting your own floral business, or looking to refine your existing skills as an experienced floral practitioner.
Our course caters to a wide range of learners—from beginners to experienced floral practitioners seeking fresh inspiration and new techniques. For beginners, our instructor will go through all the basic theory and techniques to start you on your floral journey. If you’re already in the floral industry—whether as a florist assistant, freelancer, or aspiring business owner—this course offers invaluable insights drawn from our instructor’s extensive experience, along with comprehensive hands-on training.
Additionally, professionals in related industries—such as PR, event planning, weddings, hospitality, and F&B—can benefit from this course by incorporating floral design into their expertise. For example, an event organizer could create their own floral arrangements instead of outsourcing to a vendor, adding value to their services.

Example: If you’re a Singapore aged 50 years old (i.e. 40 and above), you will be eligible for a 70% subsidy, and the balance fee of $234 is SkillsFuture Credits eligible as long as you have sufficient SkillsFuture credits.

Please note that the SkillsFuture mid-career transition credits cannot be used for this class. This include the recently credited $4,000, and the previously credited $500 in 2020.

All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. Do note:

  1. Lunch will be provided for days 1 and 2.
  2. Day 3 will include a 2 hours assessment (written + practical).

During this class, we will cover the following:

  1. Buy, prepare and care for flowers and foliage, both fresh and preserved
  2. Understand the elements and principles of floral design and apply them to create floral arrangements
  3. Learn about and use various types of floristry tools and accessories
  4. Learn and apply practical techniques to create various floral arrangements
  5. Learn about the various Workplace Safety and Health guidelines for the floral industry
  6. Tips and insights on setting up your floral business, including pricing techniques, building your catalogue and managing costs and logistics
In addition to the above learning points during our course, you will also get access to our full suite of online workshop and support after you have completed the course with us!

Create and bring home a total of 7 items during our course

  1. Personal bridal flowers - Bridal Bouquet, boutonniere / wrist corsage
  2. Bridal decor - Solemnisation arrangement & solemnisation chair back
  3. 2 styles of wrapped gift bouquet using fresh flowers
  4. Wrapped gift bouquet using preserved flowers
  5. Preserved flowers bell jar

Do note that flowers used in each class may differ from the pictures due to seasonality

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) in Level 3 WSQ Floral Arrangement.
